It was just another day on the beach when Cherise noticed that she had a bit of nail polish dried on her hands from last night’s DIY mani-pedi. With no traditional polish remover in sight, she rubbed her hands in the sand with the hopes of removing the stubborn lacquer. Not only did it work, but the fine-grained sand left her hands feeling soft. “This would make a great scrub” she thought, and the idea for Tahoe Beach Body Scrub was born.

As the idea developed further, Cherise wanted the scrub not only to exfoliate, but moisturize as well. Having just moved back to her family’s home in South Lake Tahoe, NV, Cherise was reminded of the harsh consequence of living in this beautiful, scenic town -  VERY dry skin caused by the high elevation and dry climate. So she created a blend of moisturizers that would leave the skin supple and hydrated to complement and finish the recipe for the scrub.

Finally, two years after that sunny day on the beach, Tahoe Beach was founded in 2013 and the Tahoe Beach Body Scrub was created. Along with her daughters Marlo and Skylar, Cherise developed a unique formula for both a body scrub and a body butter. Tahoe Beach wants to share the beauty of Lake Tahoe with the customers by supplying products made from a local business that will keep skin smooth and moisturized in even the driest of climates.
