The Tahoe Beach Body Process
We make our Tahoe Beach Body Scrub and Summer Legs Body Butter through a simple, yet thoughtful process to maximize moisture retainment while offering a customized exfoliating experience.
Collection
The sand is collected in the water by accessing private beaches, only in Nevada.
Sifting/Sorting
We sift the collected sand to ensure that we are using only the finest grains for our scrub (sand grains that are too large are abrasive and harsh on the skin).
Sterilization
A sample portion of every batch of sand is sent to a lab to test for impurities and when a favorable results is returned, another heat sterilization process if performed at temperatures of about 450 degrees for an hour or longer.
Mixing
The sand is then added to a unique formula base of oils and butters.
Packaging
Our Tahoe Breach Body Scrub and Summer Legs Body Butter are packaged and ready to be sent to you!
