FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions for Tahoe Beach Body include how and when to use the product, shipping matters and more
How do I use Tahoe Beach Body Scrub?
We recommend applying the scrub at the end of your shower, as the last part of your routine. Once applied rinse, dry off, and enjoy your smooth, supple skin!
How often should I apply Tahoe Beach Body Scrub?
You can use our scrub as often as needed for your skin. Most of our customers say their use ranges from everyday to three times a week. Just figure out what feels best for you. If any irritation occurs, discontinue use.
What do I do if there are little grains of sand left over in my shower?
No need to worry, it will wash down the drain with continued showering, but for the time being, enjoy the feeling and let it remind of you of being on the beautiful shores of Lake Tahoe!
Why do you use sand in your scrubs instead of salt or sugar?
Sugar and salt dissolve quickly - a real disadvantage if you truly want to exfoliate. The very fine size of the sand makes it the perfect exfoliate without being too harsh or abrasive, and it allows us to add oils and butters to the scrub which provide that much needed moisture to your skin. Finally, we want to be able to share with you a little bit of Lake Tahoe’s beauty and wonder!
What are the main ingredients in Tahoe Beach Body Scrub and Summer Legs Body Butter?
The moisturizing bases of our products are mostly made up of unrefined shea butter, olive oil, cocoa butter, macadamia nut oil, sweet almond oil, and coconut oil. Additionally, we add the super fine-grained sand to create the perfect mixture for the body scrub. (For more about how we select our sand, read about Our Process).
Do you make any other products besides your body scrub?
Summer Legs is our body butter, made to compliment our body scrub. We are in the process of developing other products that harness the power of our wonderful sand - just make sure to keep checking back.
